occupier.lol is a public 100×100 billboard. Ten thousand cells. You pay, you stamp a website, you stay until someone pays more.
This is a fight for territory. Draw a lot, put your name on it, and you own those cells until the next bidder shows up. Empty ground during launch is $1 any size — one cell or a thousand. After 80% of the board is claimed, empty cells start at $0.05. Every takeover after that is 1.5× the listed price. Paying more than the minimum is how you make the next person work harder.
Anyone can take what you hold. They hover your lot, pay the new price, and your image comes off. You are not refunded. The only defence is to add value, buy more cells, or make the 1.5× so steep they pick someone else. The leaderboard and categories rank who is actually paying, not who showed up first. Total paid is every dollar you have ever spent. Current value is what it would cost to take the land you still occupy.
You are competing with every other listing on the grid. A neighbour can grow into your edge. A bigger wallet can wipe a cheap lot in one checkout. Rank moves when money moves. If you want the mechanics in full, read the Rules.
